Williams bringing hope back to Hill District
Irvin E. Williams wanted to be an architect, but he couldn't draw.
Today, the Penn State University graduate and his wife, Janicee, own and operate, Ebony Development, LLC, the region's only Black-owned development company. And they are on a God-inspired mission to help design the changing landscape of the Hill District.
"Christ has given me the opportunity to do this work," said Irvin. "It is a privilege to be able to do it. The real impetus behind us is that the Lord is calling us to do this, and that He'll let us know when to stop."
The "work" Williams is referring to includes the construction of the Hill District's first and only office ...
