Public relations sequence heads have the luxury of a strong and supportive foundation on which to build a program of instruction. From A Design for Public Relations Education (1975) to Preparing Advertising and Public Relations Students for the Communications Industry in the 21st Century (1993), to A Port of Entry: Public Relations Education for the 21st Century (1999) the field has a rich collection of thinking and recommendations relating to public relations education.
Perhaps it's because the field is so new compared with other disciplines. Perhaps it's because the discipline's technology and environment change with such finality that so much has been written about public relations ...
