Just a thought - to avoid the possibility of just `gloom and doom', it may be worth including ways to minimise the effect of the CSArmy?
The well-known alternatives of running away and becoming unemployed are not really suitable for the majority of fathers who want to be involved and need the money. Under the existing rules, there is a minimum net salary of around £550 per month (after tax, NHI and mortgage or reno that a father can earn before there will be any liability. So if you can survive under that threshold (or can increase your mortgage payment?), then that is one possibility.
Also, the CSA's definition of `income' at present only includes `salary'. Hence the suggestion that if ...
