The Perpetual Motion Children's Sports Center was conceived to provide a variety of children's sports in one facility. This allows families to have children experience more than one sport without driving them all over town. The owners of Perpetual Motion have a gymnastics background and have moved from a 10,000-square-foot building that focused entirely on gymnastics to the 26,000square-foot Children's Sports Center that still retains a strong gymnastics program but also offers trampoline and tumbling, swimming, golf, dance, and karate.
The biggest challenge in designing this building was to provide a simple way to get to any of the activities without interrupting the others. The spacious ...
