The owner of The Daily Mail said this week that he will not sell the Charleston newspaper, but acknowledged some changes could be in store for the paper.
"What I can tell you is that the Daily Mail is not for sale. MediaNews expects to own and publish The Daily Mail for years to come," MediaNews Group CEO William Dean Singleton told The State Journal Tuesday. "There is a discussion about changing certain aspects of the joint operating agreement (with the Charleston Gazette)."
Singleton declined to explain the changes that are being negotiated.
