The grass is greener
If you thought Bono was the hottest thing to come out of Ireland, think again. The U2 frontman and peace activist is hunky, but he isn't THE CHIEFTAINS. Ireland's multi-Grammy-winning supergroup The Chieftains has been around since 1962 and has recorded more than 40 albums. The ensemble will make a stop in Marin on Sunday. This local performance will include tunes from the group's latest album Further Down the Plank Road, which pays homage to the ties between American bluegrass music and traditional Irish music.
