Perry County's Business Campus One in Penn Township is still just a plot of undeveloped ground.
But it is the first step in Perry County's goal to attract more businesses.
To members of the county's 2-year-old Economic Development Corp., the improvements to routes 11 and 15 and Route 22/322, will be a catalyst for new business growth within the county.
"It's a new area, ripe for development," according to Rodney F. Bower, president and CEO of The First National Bank of Newport, based in Newport, approximately 10 miles northwest of Duncannon.
