BRANDON - With good schools, churches and a strong economic base, it is not any wonder that Rankin County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Mississippi.
Commercial developments are going up as fast as the residential developments are in the county, and, said Tom Troxler, executive director of the Rankin First Economic Development Authority," The good news is it (commercial real estate) seems to be selling all across the Rankin County area," he said. "Even as you go on up north on (Highway) 25 and east towards Pelahatchie, people are starting to look at potential developments in those areas as well."
