Report of the 2000 Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee met in Washington, D.C., on September 16, 2000. The committee's responsibility was to nominate candidates for the Association's governing Council. The committee sought the strongest candidates from each district, taking into account such factors as AAUP experience, race, gender, type of institution, and geographic distribution.
