Objectives: To describe in detail the rationale for and placement of microvascular ports for the efficient delivery of radiolabeled cell preparations to conduct biodistribution studies in small animals. Methods: The Da Vinci Microport Vascular System is a closed injection route permitting its implantation 2 or more weeks prior to trafficking experiments without loss of patency.
