ASQ ORGANIZED AN INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER IN 1956 WITH ABOUT 25 MEMbers. By the end of ASQ's 1956-57 fiscal year, the international membership stood at 75. Since then ASQ's International Chapter has grown dramatically, to more than 5,000 members in about 90 countries. This growth shows how quality professionals outside of North America desire to belong to a Prestigious society like ASO. Many international members are proud to display their ASQ membership statuses and ASQ certification designations on their business cards.
