Nebraska's Doug Bereuter Would Be Weaker Choice
There is a third race for a chairmanship in the House of Representatives that has great importance for the nation. As is the case with the other two contests (Ways and Means between Phil Crane of Illinois and Bill Thomas of California and Armed Services between Curt Weldon of Pennsylvania and Bob Stump of Arizona) the outcome will be important as to how George W. Bush will conduct his presidency.
