Chicago - New directions in the understanding and treatment of contact dermatitis run the gamut from easy-to-use databases to more complex analyses of the condition's histological hallmarks. In the former area, the Contact Allergan Replacement Database (CARD), developed by the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale and available from the American Contact Dermatitis Society, has proven extremely useful.
