After publishing the CPD proposals in the April issue, we have been inundated with letters and calls from concerned (and amused) members. The following are some of the more interesting responses we received. Letters have been edited for length and grammar where required.
I refer to your article on page 25 of the April edition (coincidentally the April edition) of the ASA and commend SAICA for the drastic measures taken to improve CPD and ensure an all-rounded professional. A few questions though:
1. Does my mom qualify to give a testimonial? I understand that she does not know much about the profession but will always be willing to say something positive about me.
