2003 Textile Machinery Shipments Concentrate on Asia

ITMF Report

According to the annual textile machinery shipment survey by the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), global shipments of textile machinery held up well in 2003, with increasing concentration on Asian markets. The exceptions were long-staple spindle and shuttleless looms, although the dip in loom shipments followed a very strong year in 2002 and their absolute level remains high.
