Article: Aetna continues to improve doctor relations

National Reports-Nine members have been appointed to the new Aetna Physician Advisory Committee, following the completion of an agreement between Aetna and physicians stemming from a national class-action lawsuit last year.

"Working with the board, consisting of nine distinguished physicians, we hope to initiate a productive dialogue and to further increase transparency with regard to our business practices," William C. Popik, MD, Aetna's chief medical officer tells MANAGED HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE.
