While I am neither good at forecasting nor smarter than every (any?) one else, I know for certain that I work very hard to keep my ignorance well indexed, color-coded, and sorted. For an editor, the proper care and feeding of one's ignorance is essential to filling issue after issue of otherwise blank pages.
