Menopause is associated to an increase of vascular risk factors, leading to arteriosclerosis complications. Expectation of life for Tunisian women is actually about 75 years, giving time to cardiovascular events to occur. The aim of this study is to assess the influence of menopausal transition on frequencies of some vascular risk factors in Tunisian women.
The present study is a part of a cross sectional study performed on a representative sample of the whole Tunisian population over 20 years.
