CHAIRMAN OF the Jamaica Producers Group (JPG), Mr. Charles Johnston, appealed to the diplomatic community and the Government to advance Jamaica's interest in the ongoing banana trade war by ensuring that the country's bananas continue to enjoy preferential treatment in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Johnston was speaking at the Group's 75th anniversary luncheon recently at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, New Kingston.
