The Bolton Group is to sell off Athens Papermill's pulp and paper plant in Drama, northern Greece. The facility was shut down in August 2002 because of its poor financial performance.

The group initially hoped to find a partner rather than to sell the mill, but the plan foundered. Bolton hopes to divest the plant as one package, but the assets could be sold piecemeal.
