Article: Musts for managing contract manufacturers

Although many pharmaceutical companies are outsourcing their manufacturing, few are doing it as effectively and efficiently as they could be. Half of the companies polled in a recent survey were unable to demonstrate effective procedures for identifying, selecting and managing contract manufacturers. This article suggests that companies form strategic partnerships with a few key contract manufacturers, to provide a higher level of integrated value.
