Homeowners and farmowners policies cover expense of fire department response in rural areas
Holders of homeowners policies who live outside the boundaries of a fire protection district, and farm property owners in rural areas who carry farmowners policies have a valuable asset in the fire department service charge clause included in their property insurance. The provisions of the benefit are spelled out under "additional coverages" or "incidental coverages" in Section I.
