When Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell announced at the Democratic National Convention that her candidate for governor in 2006 was Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, it certainly added a little buzz to the speculation surrounding who the Democrats will pick in an attempt to end what will be the 16-year drought from the governor's chair.

Campbell told the Columbus Dispatch that Coleman would be "great" as the Democrats' standardbearer in 2006. "He's shown an ability to lead a diverse city and an ability to bring people together."
