Background: As a cause of drop foot, common peroneal nerve palsies are well recognized complications following surgical procedures. We reported a boy with bilateral drop foot that resulted as an unusual complication of paediatric urological surgery which performed in the supine position under the general and epidural anaesthesia that has not noted previously.
Case: A 9-year-old boy who has no neurologic deficit his lower limbs was scheduled for ureteroneosistostomy. Epidural puncture was performed at the L4-5 interspace with a 20-Gauge (G) Touhy needle (Perifix®,B.Braun) on a left lateral decubit position under general anaesthesia.
