Superior Court judge orders insurer to tell policyholders that they may be entitled to additional compensation

Because of a recent court ruling, Georgia repairers no longer have to worry about taking the heat from customers who complain that their vehicles are worth less money after they have been in an accident.

Following Georgia Superior Court Judge Douglas C. Pullen's Dec. 1 decision, State Farm now has no choice but to consider paying Georgia policyholders for first-party inherent diminished value (DV) claims.
