Vibrant Leaves a Draw for State's Bed and Breakfasts

HARPERS FERRY - For West Virginia's bed and breakfast owners, the mountains clothed in dazzling gold, orange and red translate into another beautiful hue: green, as in the color of money.

"Is fall a good time for bed and breakfasts? That is an understatement," said Brian Kelly, owner of The Angler's Inn in Harpers Ferry. "The flat-landers from Baltimore, Washington, Philadelphia and the eastern shore all want to come here in the fall, when the air is crisp and clean and the trees are beautiful."
