Veterans Administration approves optometrist-performed procedures with supervision
Washington, DC-"Demand surgery by surgeons" are the key words on the home page of a Web site dedicated to quality eye-care for U.S. military veterans.
"Naturally" one might say; "who else?" another might answer; but a coalition composed of six associations is using www. vetscoalition.org in part to deal with the very real possibility that someone other than a medical doctor might be doing laser eye surgery at a Veterans Administration (VA) medical facility.
