Sweden's Arctic Paper is gearing up to revamp PM 2 at its uncoated fine paper mill in Kostrzyn, western Poland. The firm also plans to overhaul the facility's power supply and to boost its capacity further in the next few years.

PMPoland will replace the machine's press section during a seven-day shutdown starting on September 17. The work will raise the unit's operating speed from 750 m/min to 800 m/min and push up its capacity from 125,000 tonnes/yr to 130,000 tonnes/yr.
