Article: Hill District grocery store may be closer; State adds $10 million to inner-city store fund

A grocery store in the Hill District may be a step closer to reality with Gov. Edward G. Rendell and state Rep. Dwight Evans,' D-Philadelphia, announcement of additional money for opening supermarkets in underserved areas.

The state has already committed $100 million to help grocery storeowners find land and build stores in underserved areas.
