What fluid works best with what seal?
One of the significant causes of lost productivity is incompatibility between the seals used in machine tools and metalworking fluids. This has plagued all manufacturers in the metalworking industry for years.
To clarify the problem, Castrol Industrial North America Inc. (CINA) initiated a series of scientific tests and conducted interviews with representatives of metalworking fluid manufacturers, machine tool manufacturers, seal manufacturers, and end users.*
