September Issue'Right On'
The September issue is one of the best in the year that I have been a member. Issues Up Front, Mail Call, Now Hear This and Washington Wire all had interesting items. "Young Vets Voice Their Views on VFWs Future" is right on.
For the VFW to survive, it has to know more about younger vets and change to attract them. I personally don't see it happening, but this kind of research is better than assuming young vets will join. The piece about veterans on campus is a great article. The articles on vet clubs and membership hit the mark, too.
