Whit Bazemore will be gassing a Rat Fink-themed Dodge Stratus Funny Car at the CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals in Chicago Sept. 30-Oct. 3. The legendary Rat Fink - a big, hairy green rat with bulging eyeballs, yellowish broken teeth, a tail patched with athletic tape, and flies buzzing around him - inhabits a skewed world where speed is king. He and his gang of ghoulish gearhead gremmies speak in bebop slang and live to race their modified rigs. When not behind the wheel, the creatures can be found on the deck of a skateboard, in the garage, hitting the waves, or hanging at the local junkyard.
