From early accounts, medication is well-tolerated by allergy patients
With the allergy season in full force, ophthalmologists are always in search of a medication to treat patients who suffer from ocular allergies. It's also helpful if the medication offers efficacy, tolerance, and convenience.
A recent addition to the pharmaceutical arsenal against ocular allergies is olopatadine hydrochloride (Patanol, Alcon). From early indications, olopatadine appears to meet all of the above criteria in treating patients with ocular allergies.
