LAUREL, MD-Eye drops that could speed healing and prevent blurriness after laser vision-correction surgery were named the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory's Invention of the Year.
The $2,500-cash award was given during the lab's second annual ceremony to honor 225 researchers.
