Dealing with what might well be the most contested terms in intercultural communication studies-ethnic and cultural identity-Mary Fong and Rueyling Chuang attempted a difficult task: to edit a collection of nineteen loosely related studies that would be the heart of a textbook. The resulting volume contains many engaging essays that provide a valuable resource for teaching and learning the intricate ways in which cultural identity is communicated.
