Mountainview, CA-based Handspring Inc. has introduced Visor Edge,TM a thinner version of the company's Visor family of expandable hand-held computers. The new hand-held comes with a monochrome screen, a rechargeable battery and all the performance benefits of the Visor Platinum edition. In addition to the new design, Handspring has enhanced two key software functions that are unique to Visor Edge: Fast Lookup and Silent Alarm.
