The international appeal of Hip Hop culture is phenomenal, from the break dancing days of Run DMC and Africa Bambata, to the revolutionary raps of Public Enemy and KRS-ONE, to the pop culture rhymes of Nelly and Ludacris. Hip Hop has undoubtedly made it's mark, but has the positive evolution of Hip Hop been compromised for a walk down the red carpet? The current state of Hip Hop leaves many to ponder the question, 'Where is the balance in Hip Hop?'
