In this final article I wish to consider how case studies are used in examinations and how best to prepare students to be successful in answering the type of questions that are set based on case studies. I will illustrate the difference between students who have mastered the necessary skills to be successful dealing with case study examinations and those who, whilst their business studies knowledge may be sound, have failed to tackle the case study aspects of examination questions in an appropriate manner. Within the article I will discuss in particular how to get the best out of pre-released case material.
