La Crosse Brush Inc. has been helping keep America clean for 75 years.
Owners Dennis Peterson and Jim Shannon estimate the business at 3235 George St. manufactures more than 300 different items and sells more than -500 different items.
La Crosse Brush, which is managed by Peterson's son Derek, makes brooms and brushes used primarily in the janitorial, construction, maintenance, food service and dairy industries. It custom makes some of them to specifications provided by customers.
Some of its products - such as brooms, grill brushes and sink brushes - also are found in homes. La Crosse Brush products are sold in all 50 states and Canada, and mainly are sold to distributors.
