Q I'm a janitor at a high school and I'm worried that some of the cleaning products that I use are bad for my health. Could this be true?

A Yes, it definitely could. Many cleaning products contain toxic ingredients that can have serious health effects. Some can cause liver or kidney damage. Some can weaken the body's immune system or create a heightened sensitivity to chemicals. Some, more seriously, can disrupt hormonal processes or even cause cancer.
