Formosa Taffeta Co., Ltd.; Delicacy Industrial Co., Ltd.; Honmyue Enterprise Co., Ltd.; and other Taiwanese filament fabric manufacturers have announced plans to invest in Vietnam.

Nike of the U.S. earlier placed a large order in Vietnam, but the order was too large for the Long An factory of Formosa Taffeta to handle. For this reason, Formosa Taffeta plans to construct a 5-million-yard/month nylon fabric mill in Vietnam, the capacity of which will be increased eventually to 10 million meters.
