Article: Al Sharpton predicts life under President Bush

The Rev. Al. Sharpton had been busy visiting 18 to 19 cities over the course of six days. It was a last effort to ensure that President George W. Bush would not be re-elected to a second term.

However, the appeals on behalf of Sen. John Kerry would not be enough to put presidential hopeful Kerry over the top. And now, Sharpton argued the next four years would be a time of disaster for African Americans under the second term of Bush.

"I'm convinced this is the most important election of our lifetime," Sharpton said, loudly from the pulpit. "This is not as simple as Democrat versus Republican. This is about what is going to happen in the next 20 years."
