Racial stereotypes are the provenance of the ignorant. Too often these views are steeped in half-truths, historical inaccuracies, and factual distortions. So it was no surprise to find out many Americans perceive that Native Americans do not pay taxes. In light of the escalating federal budget deficit and the declining U.S. dollar, any notion of preferential economic treatment is a very contentious topic.
