Hydrofluoric acid burn therapy

As a clinician and researcher who has treated many cases of hydrofluoric acid burns over the past 30 plus years, and acted as a consultant to Honeywell, the world's largest producer of hydrofluoric acid, I was most distressed to read the statements made by Robert Cox, M.D., in the DERMATOLOGY TIMES article "Simplest therapy works for hydrofluoric acid burns" (December 1999).
