Greenwood-Leflore again ranked by Site Selection

Site Selection magazine, in its March 2005 issue, has named Greenwood-Leflore County as one of the "Top 100 Micropolitan Statistical Areas" in the nation for 2004, coming in 82nd.

By Census Bureau definition, a micropolitan area is basically a county with one or more communities of more than 10,000 population but less than 50,0000, and no communities of more than 50,000. And a majority of the people who live in the community must also work there. According to the Census Bureau, there are 674 micropolitan areas in the U.S.
