Many of the nation's young people don't know how to manage money, balance a checkbook or save for their future. Adults also lack basic financial skills. Somewhere along the way, educators forgot that basic money management skills are essential to a well-rounded education, just like reading, writing and arithmetic. Forward-thinking bankers are aware of this education gap and are doing something about it.

On National Teach Children to Save Day - Tuesday, April 26 - banker volunteers will make presentations to students across the country. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade will learn money skills that they can use throughout life.
