Tool identifies less-obvious cases and monitors those already diagnosed
The Paradigm Ocular Blood Flow Analyzer (BFA) quickly measures pulsatile ocular blood flow and identifies patients with low-tension and normotension glaucoma, so that treatment can be initiated before irreversible damage to the retina has occurred.
"Measuring ocular blood flow is being recognized as an important new diagnostic tool for practices," said Thomas Motter, chairman and chief executive officer of Paradigm Medical Industries Inc., Salt Lake City.
