This year's convention of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association to emphasize on-site-and customer-service
MACHINE DIAGNOSTICS AND CUSTOMER m service are two topics that will figure prominently when the Electrical Apparatus Service Association meets in Nashville June 26-29. The convention is being held in the enclosed Gaylord Opryland hotel.
Technical sessions
Generator troubleshooting and repair will be explained in depth by Paul Herbert of Power-Tronics in Kerrville, Tenn. Herbert's presentation will touch upon common configurations, voltage regulation, troubleshooting in the field, and replacing rotating d-c exciters and saturable reactors with electronic static exciters.
