Article: GEO Award winners named for manufacturing excellence

The A.T. Kearney Co. has named the 2001 winners of its Global Excellence in Operations (GEO) award.

The GEO assessment process uses more than 300 benchmarks to evaluate the processes of manufacturing companies. In its results materials, Kearney says GEO leaders have used operational excellence to help deliver 2.5 times more shareholder value than the average value delivered by all participants.

The 2001 winners are:
