TUCSON, Ariz. - Vicarious liability, emission regulations and tax reform are three major legislative issues that would dominate the truck renting and leasing sector in the coming year, according to Peter Vroom, president of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association.
Vroom outlined his goals for the association at the start of the annual Trala convention here April 5-8.
Trala's 2005 convention drew about 350 members, said Anne Riser, director of communications. The program included addresses by Dana Corp. President Michael Burns and Bill Graves, president of American Trucking Associations.
